The Air Force invites you to participate in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process. The USAF is preparing an EIS to assess the environmental consequences that could result from the beddown and operation of 24 Primary Aerospace Vehicles Authorized (PAA) F-35A aircraft with 2 Backup Aircraft Inventory (BAI), facility and infrastructure development, and personnel changes at one military base in the continental United States (CONUS) where the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) conducts a global precision attack mission.

The Preferred alternative is:

  • Naval Air Station (NAS) Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base (JRB), Texas

The reasonable alternatives are:

  • Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (AFB), Arizona
  • Homestead Air Reserve Base (ARB), Florida
  • Whiteman AFB, Missouri

Along with the No Action Alternative, all four beddown alternatives are evaluated equally in the EIS.
