Announcement:

The public comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the AFRC F-35A Operational Beddown ended on 31 March 2020. The Notice of Availability (NOA) of the Draft EIS was published in the Federal Register on 14 February 2020. The 45-day public review and comment period extended from 14 February 2020 to 31 March 2020. The Draft EIS was made available, and is still available on the DOCUMENTATION page of this website listed above. On March 3, 5, 10 and 12, the Air Force held public hearings in the communities near each of the 4 bases.

The Air Force has initiated preparation of the Final EIS which will be available on this website and the libraries listed below in late Summer or early Fall of 2020. Please check back often for updated project information.

Welcome to the official website for the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), F-35A Operational beddown of the F-35A Lightning II Aircraft.

This website allows the USAF to share information with the public through the EIS process. During the public review periods, this website will be available to accept comments from the public on the EIS documents. Your participation in this process will assist the Air Force with the identification and evaluation of your environmental concerns regarding the proposed AFRC F-35A mission.
